We are sorry that no donations of books can be accepted due to the closure of the library.  Materials that are left at the library are removed and will not be returned to the library.

When the library reopens, there will be a process for the orderly donation of books.  Please do not bring any books until they can be accepted.

Due to Covid-19, all Los Angeles Public Libraries are closed to the public, including the Platt Branch Library.  Some library services are available. There is no information about when libraries will reopen.

Electronic media such as e-books and audio books are available at www.lapl.org. 

Library To Go sevice provides print books.  Go to www.lapl.org.  Choose your book.  It may be immediately available or you may need to place a hold for it.  When it is available, you can specify where and when you want to pick up the book.  Platt is not a pick-iup library.  Woodland Hills Branch is a pick-up site.
